ABOUT  US

Anne M Kelly

Our Founder

Anne brings more than 25 years of experience solving complex operational problems, leading major initiatives, and helping organizations turn strategy into execution.

Throughout her career, she has worked with organizations ranging from growing businesses to Fortune 100 companies, including Parker Hannifin, Trane Technologies, Estée Lauder, Sprint, Signet Jewelers, California Closets, and many more.

Her work has spanned large-scale technology implementations, organizational transformation, operational and process improvement, program leadership, organizational design, and change management. But regardless of the challenge, Anne’s approach has remained remarkably consistent: understand how the pieces fit together, find what’s really getting in the way, and build something better.

That combination of operational rigor and creative problem-solving ultimately became the foundation for The Creative Operations Group.

Anne also believes that creativity makes us better problem solvers. A lifelong passion for design led her to complete Interior Design coursework through the New York Institute of Art and Design, earning her Residential Interior Design Certification in 2023. That design background continues to influence how she approaches her work—seeing possibilities, challenging assumptions, and finding solutions others might overlook.

Today, through COG, Anne brings those experiences together to help organizations, teams, and leaders tackle complicated problems, work more effectively, and turn good ideas into things that actually work.

Mission, Vision, and Values

Like this Icelandic church constructed from hand-hewn lava rock, our foundation is built to last. Client focus, passion, and a flair for the creative drives what we do, and how we do it.

Vision

Better work. Better leaders. Better organizations.

We envision a world where work is intentionally designed around the people doing it—where unnecessary complexity is removed, leaders create environments where people can succeed, and good ideas become things that actually work.

Mission

We help people and organizations build better.

COG combines operational expertise, creative problem-solving, and practical tools to uncover what’s really getting in the way and turn insight into action. Through consulting, leadership development, and ready-to-use resources, we make complex problems clearer, change more executable, and better ways of working achievable.

Values

  • Make it useful Good thinking is only valuable if someone can actually do something with it. We create practical solutions, tools, and actions that work in the real world.
  • Find the real problem  Symptoms are loud. Root causes usually aren't. We ask better questions, challenge assumptions, follow the evidence, and keep digging until we understand what is actually getting in the way.
  • Make complexity simpler—not simplistic  Complex problems deserve rigorous thinking. Our job is to make that complexity understandable and actionable without pretending it isn't there.
  • Build capability, not dependency  Whether we're consulting, coaching, or creating tools, success means leaving people better equipped to succeed without us.
  • Better is the standard  Not bigger. Not trendier. Not more complicated. Better. Every process, meeting, tool, role, system, and solution should earn its place by contributing something that matters.
